My name is Aurélie Spinette. I'm 28 years old. Belgian. Entrepreneur. Kickboxer.
I grew up in Belgium and spent the last 3 years building my life in Lisbon, Portugal, where I train 3 times per week at Academia KolMachine.
I am not a professional athlete. I never was. I am someone who put on boxing gloves one day and never took them off.
Because I needed to.
I know what it feels like to not be able to protect yourself. I have lived it. That personal experience and the strength I rebuilt through combat sport is the quiet engine behind everything I am building today.
Most documentaries about combat sport are about champions. This one is not.
This documentary is about what happens before the title. Before the confidence. Before anyone is watching.
It's about a woman who started from zero, no platform, no audience, no safety net — and decided to build something anyway. From scratch. In public. With no guarantee it would work.
I am building this documentary the same way I learned to fight — by showing up every day regardless of the result.
I want every woman who has ever felt powerless to watch this film and think : if she can, I can do it too.
That is the only reason this documentary exists.
